Love lock bridge
Notre Dame de Paris
I cannot explain the beauty of this church. We walked in and it smelled like incense and was dark with a beautiful ambience. The stain glass windows and chandeliers set the mood. It was really silent in the church even though a lot of people were in there. It was a very peaceful setting.
Montmartre
There is a piano just open to the public and we watched three pianists and they were all incredible. The guy in the picture played ballade no 1 in G minor by Chopin. Tom was in heaven listening to him.
This area of Paris has definitely been my favorite so far. The roads were really narrow with colorful graffiti on the walls with a lot of small, quant restaurants and interesting people watching.
Sacre Coeur Basilique
Bought a Heineken and took pictures of the beautiful city.
Iya Traore. This guy is one of the bet freestylers in the world and has an incredible amount of views on YouTube. It was amazing. He would take his clothes off with the ball on his back and climb up that light post spinning the ball on a pen. We met up with Tim's friends from school in Spain. One of the girls, alma, got her picture with him and he put the spinning ball on the pen in her crease in her arm and took the picture. I was a bit jealous. He was so talented!
Valentina Lisitsa- worldwide famous pianist was playing on the hill. Thank goodness for Tom's love for piano or I would have sat there thinking she was a street performer. She had her eyes closed the whole time!
Here is a video of her:
