Salzburg

Here is a little glimps of the apsely ski lodge where we have stayed the past two nights. So beautiful I would stay if my mom wouldn't have told me I can't because she misses me :) 

Here was our bedroom. Our beds were stripped already but I slept on the top bunk!

It was such a cozy lodge! 

We woke up super early to try to paraglide again! It turned out there wasn't enough wind today :/ obviously it wasn't meant to be but I will definitely try in Salzburg!

Instead we had heard of this lake we should swim in which is only a 30 min hike through the mountains.

 It was definitely man made lake but so incredibly clear and awesome!  The temperature was perfect and such a refreshing swim! It was about 15 ft deep and you could see all the way to the bottom. 

We hiked back up the mountain and we had a plan to pack up then go to a craft fair where my honey friend was going to be. We got to the gondola 6 min too late. They close at 12 for an hour. Welp guess we just had to go to the restaurant at the top of the mountain and get lunch and a banana split. 

Randomly we bought these awesome 80s retro hats at the top with the resorts name on them. 

Left a note to Mal and Jim since we couldn't say goodbye and headed to Salzburg.

We took the 3 and a half hour train because it was half the price since it wasn't express. It was so worth it though because the ride was gorgeous through the mountains and small towns. 

We are staying at the muffin hostel! Headed out for dinner and a beer and I'm in love with Salzburg. 

Currently watching the sound of music in the common room and dying at the thought I'm going on the tour tomorrow!
