The Grøn

Started off the day early and on a good note. I went for a run along a trail that is on the beach and I ran to the 4 men.

It is about a 5k run!  When I got to the 4 men I just sat on the beach and enjoyed the breeze of the early morning. It was wonderful!

I think the people in the picture below camped on the beach, which Marike informed me was illegal. That sounds like it would be amazing though!

Around 11, Mia and Nynne came overfor  breakfast because we were then heading to a day concert with about 8 different artists.

We ate breakfast and then played beer bowling. It took me a little bit to warm up but I got the feel for it and it was a great time.

Nynne and Mia were drinking cider so everytime we bowled the ball and it hit their can they had to chug a can of hard cider. Sounded terrible!

Going into this concert I was expecting every song to be in Danish. Well before we left we started listening to this srtist named Lukas graham. He only sings in English so I picked up on one or two before we headed to the concert. Well when we were in the car the girls were getting texts that he was already playing. We were all bumming. We raced in and he was still playing and then he played my favorite song last! It was so much fun!!

After Lukas played, Nynne, Mia, and I made our way up to the stage because Medina was playing next and she is a very popular artist here in Denmark. Supposedly she took one of her famous hits and translated it directly to English so she could get famous in the USA but it didn't work so well for her.

We were so close to her! She was alright. Not really my scene but it was hilarious to watch all the fans just obsessing over her. We had a lot of fun!

We hung out and ate lunch together and then Nynne and Mia were heading out. I was actually pretty sad for them to leave because I won't see them again during my trip here. Maybe the next time will be when they visit me in the states :)

We went over to sit with Nete closer to the stage and it was so much fun.

Marike bought mini donuts and asked me if i feel at home eating the donuts. Seriously, American movies jut give America a terrible impression. They think we are just such fatties and all we eat is fast food and greasy foods. Haha

We heard Kato and Nick and Jay. They are both dj's so it was so wild! Everyone was dancing and having a great time! I have a lot of fun just making the words up in Danish to songs.

My favorite part of the day is when a guy was talking with Marike and he started to talk to me in Danish. I stared at him like everything he was saying was going over my head, yet he kept talking. Marike was like "no really, she isn't Danish". He didn't believe me that I was American and thought I was just fooling him. I am really fitting in here in Denmark :)
